Whitecourt Rotary Music Festival
ALL registrations are welcome, both virtual and live, and we encourage those from areas where a Festival may not offer virtual entries.
Please Note: All participants are eligible for Provincial recommendations but only those from our local area are eligible for scholarships. All provincially qualified performances must be performed live-there are NO VIRTUAL ENTRIES at the Provincial Level.
Philosophy:
The philosophy of our festival is to encourage the performance of Fine Arts by the youth of our community and encourage these young performers in a public atmosphere. It takes courage and strength to perform, whether in a competitive class or a non-competitive class and we applaud them all.
Purpose:
The purpose of the Whitecourt Rotary Music Festival is to promote music, speech, dance, and the performing arts in Whitecourt and surrounding areas.
We are a teaching Festival, and will use a workshop environment with positive feedback to encourage growth for our performers and new ideas for our teachers.
